LILLY is doing the rounds again. She is not exactly a bundle of confidence, hiding her delicate features behind thick glasses, a shabby raincoat and a black beret. But she keeps visiting the poorest of quarters, the parts of town where nobody else dares to go. Lilly is drawn, even attracted, to dirty streets and dark alleys where human leftovers, far removed and forgotten from society, live a pathetic existence in dismal dwellings.
